What does varicose vein treatment cost?
The clinic holds a provider number under the Danish public health insurance and receives referred patients for services covered by the current agreement. Whether a specific service is covered is clarified before the course of treatment. The clinic does not offer private self-pay pathways. Group 2 patients have different referral and subsidy rules, contact the clinic to hear what applies to you.

With a doctor's referral
In group 1, the pre-assessment and ultrasound are covered by the public health insurance with a valid GP referral. Treatment is covered only when medically indicated and included in the clinic's public agreement. In group 2, the usual subsidy and co-payment rules apply.

No private self-pay treatment
The clinic does not offer private self-pay treatment or purely cosmetic procedures.

If you are in health insurance group 1 and have a valid referral from your GP, the examinations and treatments covered by the clinic's public health agreement are covered by the Danish public health insurance, so you pay nothing for them yourself.
